This here is just a quick supplemental entry in which I want to let you know that I've been admitted to the Bailey Hundo bicycle race this Saturday. It's a fundraising race for a nonprofit called Trips for Kids, which sends disadvantaged kids on full-day mountain bike trips. That's rad, because kids on mountain bikes are not finding needles in the gutter or lighting fireworks indoors or watching The Hangover Part II for the thirtieth time. The thing is, since I was bumped up from the waiting list at kind of the last minute, I have, from this moment, about ten hours to fundraise.
